Sherrie Newman

Sherrie Newman is a contemporary artist working primarily with acrylic and mixed media, creating abstract two dimensional work. ​Born in Fredonia, New York, along Lake Erie, Sherrie earned her BFA in Drawing and Painting from Alfred University. After many years in various creative roles, most recently as Exhibition Manager at Chihuly Garden and Glass in Seattle, Sherrie now paints full time. For 24 years and counting, Sherrie calls the Pacific Northwest home.
