We are pleased to announce ROOTED, Sherrie Newman’s second solo exhibition at Gallery Mack.

Following the success of her 2025 show, HOME, Newman continues to explore themes of belonging and the deep connections found within home, landscape, and place. This new exhibition features her signature heavily textured acrylic and mixed media paintings alongside a return to charcoal drawing. By incorporating trees and expansive landscapes, she further develops her visual language surrounding these themes.

Sherrie Newman is originally from Western New York state, earned her BFA in Drawing and Painting from Alfred University, and has resided in Seattle for 25 years.
